Hi everyone! My name is Meghan Cate and I've been working in the fitness industry for 16 years. I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and sustained a knee injury while playing volleyball my freshman year. During the rehab process, I became addicted to spin classes. The next thing I knew, the gym asked me to become an instructor! I started teaching just spin and then added Turbo Kick to my resume. After college, I moved back home to sunny San Diego where I took a job as an accountant. I traded the gym for happy hours and before I knew it, I had gained 50 pounds. I knew I had to get control of my health, so I signed up for a "boat camp" of sorts and was addicted. I lost the weight, ran races, started playing soccer again, and found my love for coaching and teaching again. I have my Personal Trainer Certificate from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I also hold the following certifications: TRX, Orangetheory, Kaia FLOW, and I KAN Run.

I'm married to an amazing man, Nicholas, and we have a 20 month old son named Charlie. He is so much fun! We feel like we are living the dream :)
